The Photos show both parents of this species outcross. Last photo is an example of current size as offered.
Dendrobium lawesii is a beautiful New Guinea native that is pendulous in growth habit and also comes in many wonderful colors and patterns. Years ago, in raising some seedlings we were blessed to bloom out two rare xanthic seedlings (lacking in red-purple pigments); they bloomed with butterscotch yellow-gold flowers! Unfortunately, it has proven somewhat reluctant to breed in all past attempts of trying to self or sib cross them, so we decided to at least use it in an outcross.
These are the first seedlings we've ever grown and offered using this unique parent. None have bloomed yet - most will require another year or so before one can expect that. One should expect a range of colors out of these. No way to know if any xanthic clones will be evident - if so, they'll likely be a minority.
These are offered as potted/established seedlings in small net pots (see last photo).
