Coelogyne mooreana 'Brockhurst' FCC/RHS never fails to impress - it bears very large, beautifully colored flowers proudly on upright stems. It's growth is husky with egg-shaped (and egg sized, or larger) pseudobulbs.
Primarily a late-winter to spring bloomer, this Vietnamese species offers much needed color and beauty at a time of year when it is desired most.
While I find this to be a very adaptable plant, Int-cool ish winter nights are probably best to ensure nice blooms.
Note: These were divided in mid winter and are now rooting out nicely.
