This miniature unidentified rhizomatous species was introduced from the Philippines in the early 1980's. The mature "plant" develops a loose "clump" of around 8" dia by 5" high, however, it is of a creeping-clumping habit which means that it expands horizonatlly (spreads) and roots down forming new clumps. It is a heavy bloomer - nicely contrasting its' foliage with whitish, pink stemmed, flowers.
These are nice plants in 2 1/2" to 3" pots
