Begonia subacida

Begonia subacida: this Brazilian species (which is distinct from the similar "U304") makes a handsome flat clump of circular foliage with lighter veins. B. subacida bears petioles with hairs while U304's petioles are clothed in scales.

Culturally, it seems fairly easy / fast growing. It's main claim to fame is its most attractive round, red-backed leaves with central spot (petiole base) of near white, and a leaf petiole which are clothed in near-white "bracts". Seems to be easy to grow - but is probably best with above average humidity.
