Heliamphora nutans (large plant)

Heliamphora (Sun Pitchers) is a genus of insectivorous plants native to the Tepuis of South America.  Heliamphora nutans was the first species to be described, in 1838.  To grow well, this genus reponds best with coolish daytime temperatures and a non-soggy growing media that is low in nutrients.   I grow mine in a sphagnum/perlite mix, set in a shallow tray of 1" deep water, water being charged out pretty regularly.

These are established divisions from fully Mature plants, currently in 5" pots. Plant size in photos is typical of what you will receive!  (Sent potted, but ships by itself)
