Columnea purpureovittata (AKA: Trichantha) delivers splendidly attractive foliage while flowering with interesting yellow and maroon striped flowers and rosy fruits. This Peruvian native's most special trait is in its' leaves, which are strongly textured or "cratered" (like hills & valleys), are somewhat hairy, and often colored a two-tome purple & green.
