Columnea incarnata is a seldom offered Panamanian species. It forms stout, upright stems with leathery (almost succulent-like) leaves. Eventually to 30" tall, but it can easily be kept shorter with pruning.
In late winter, this species bears stunning large clusters of deep pink-red flowers from the upper leaf axils.
It prefers an intermediate to warm environment and to not be overwatered. Epiphytic, so is tolerant of occasional drying.
Sturdy young well-rooted plants in 2 1/2" pots.
