This reasonably compact, clumping to semi-trailing Begonia makes a very attractive Orchid companion plant and does exceedingly well in greeenhouses or in medium to larger sized terrariums.
The foliage is a fascinating mixture of rouch textures, hairy surfaces and melding colors of coppery-rose, and radiating emerald green and silver veining. Undersides are solid red. Flowers are white and proudly held in clusters atop stout stems.
Their diminutive size and preference for humidity makes them terrific terrarium plants and also good greenhouse orchid companions! These are young but husky, cutting-grown plants, currently in 3" pots.
