Begonia paulensis is a knock-out. This rhizomatous species bears sizeable "parasols" with deeply impressed and radiating veins which give the plant a distinctive spider-web like pattern. New growths have a soft red cast and leaf-stems bear a coating of softly coarse hairs. Very attractive. Needs good humidity! While these will get pretty big when mature, currently these are young plants in 2 1/2"- 3" pots.
