Begonia mashanica is a medium-sized limestone species from Guanxi, China. The leaf color varies considerably as they emerge . They typically begin mahogany red tinted with pronounced white marginal hairs but as the leaves mature, the red tones become more greenish
Like so many of these cliff/crevice dwelling species, care should be exercised to not overwater.
This plant is also sometimes known as Begonia jingxiensis var. mashanica.
Offered here as husky young plants in 2 1/2" - 3" pots.
