Begonia mananjebensis is an exceedingly rare Madagascan species that has proven to be fairly easy to manage. Take care not to overwater and it has grown well under cover in a not too tightly closed terrarium setting. Gracefully pinnate leaves become increasingly dissected as the plants mature. These are later adorned with bright rose-pink flowers It can top out at around 10-12” tall.
These are young but husky plants, currently in 2 1/2" pots.
