Begonia locii is another of the amazing new species coming out of Vietnam/China in recent years. Like so many of the others, this is another that hails from rocky limestone regions.
As it is fairly new to cultivation, I do not have a lot of experience with it. So far, however, it has responded well using the almost-closed terrarium type of culture that seems to suit so many similar rhizomatous species - such as B. kui and B. versicolor.
Offered here as husky young plants, in 2 1/2" pots.
