Jiew-hoe's Begonia is a stunning plant with a slightly climbing to rambling cane-type habit that is native to limestone crags.
Growth habit when young seems quite flat to the media, but as it continues to mature, the slowly creeping rhizome becomes more vertical. Brighter light seems to keep it quite manageably compact and it takes well to pruning. The foliage is stunningly and boldly polka-dotted with pure white on medium to dark green base color.
I grow it as a terrarium subject - very carefully watered so as not to keep it too wet. Pruned occasionally to keep it compact.
Offered here as husky plant in 2 1/2" - 3" pots.
