This species begonia is native to Vietnam. "var prostrata" tends to form a more rambling rather than upright rhizome habit. Despite not being an attributed described to this species, this form of "var prostrata" bears boldly patterned foliage & red veins and blooms in the late winter with white to light pinkish quite fragrant flowers! The plant being offered here is an established plant in a 2 1/2" pot.
