Begonia decora is one of many striking species from Peninsular Malaysia. This species offers stunning emerald-green veined foliage overlaid with purplish cast and covered with a fine stubble of short dark garnet-purple "hairs". Flowers are a light pink. The combined effect is almost jewel like. It is compact but not tiny so probably best in medium to larger sized terrariums.
They have a need for humidity so dictating this species is best grown under-glass. These are young, cutting-grown plants, currently in 2" pots. Seems fairly easy but does demand high humidity.
