This Indian species is rightfully popular among growers. It bears lustrous foliage with an attractive silvery variegation and veination over olive green. Last season I grew out a batch of seedlings of "Silver-Edge" X "variegated". Of them I selected two of the most strongly patterned forms to keep. This one, to which i'm referring as "Platinum", very closely mimics the clean/bold leaf margin pattern of its 'Silver-Edge' parent, and it too is a female. Not sure if its worth releasing another similar form into circulation, but it truly is nice and i'd prefer it not to just get absorbed into cultivation as "Silver-Edge" as while it is related, its not genetically the same.
Long story short, I have a few to spare, so here they are.
Established plants in 2 1/2" pots.
