This species is endemic to vertical limestone cliffs of Peninsular Malaysia. Unlike the all-green-leaf plant that's floating around in cultivation bearing this name (which i'm quite convinced is NOT correct), this one is a much shorter grower and bears strikingly mottled leaf pattern that so sets this species apart!
Bearing the lithophytic nature of this plant in mind, one must be sure not to overwater. If one is careful not to overwater, this plant does well in standard Begonia potting mixes (just meaning it does not need to grow on, or in, rock).
These are nice plants, currently in 2" pots.
