Masdevallia Tungurahua 'Marion' is certainly an eye catcher ...but not in the way most Masdevallias would do it. Instead of grabbing your attention with flowers, this one does it with foliage too! The first thing that one sees on this beauty are its stunningly variegated yellow-striped foliage! To this, it adorns with dark red flowers for a nice contrast.
This hybrid is a cross of (M. aenigma X M. veitchiana), it is a good strong grower and surprisingly stable, even so, should an errant all-green growth develop, be sure to remove it to prevent it from taking over.
