Begonia limprichtii is a beautiful small-growing species which makes a nice humid Orchid greenhouse companion plant as well as splendid collectors' item for those growing in medium to larger sized terrariums. Many suggest it does best when not overly warm, but I'll have to grow ith threough another summer or so in order to form a personal opinion.
The foliage on Begonia limprightii is a bright glossy emerald green coarsly covered with ruby to garnet red colored and spiky-looking hairs! Very different.
